Move a Text File

Android:


  1. In your Local file directory, tap and hold a file thumbnail.
  2. Tap Copy.
  3. Navigate to a folder or directory that you would like to move your text file to.
  4. Tap on the â‹® icon, which can be found on the top right-hand corner of your screen.
  5. Tap Paste.


Move operation will be removed starting from v14.1.0. Please use copy and paste operation instead.



iOS:

Move operation is not supported at the moment. A workaround is to copy and paste file to the desired folder.


  1. In your Local file directory, tap and hold a file thumbnail.
  2. Tap Copy.
  3. Navigate to a folder or directory that you would like to move your text file to.
  4. Tap on the … icon, which can be found on the top right-hand corner of your screen.
  5. Tap Paste.



Mac:

For locally saved files, you can move text files to another folder via desktop.


For cloud files:

  1. Go to a cloud account.
  2. Right-click a file > click Copy.
  3. Navigate to a folder or directory that you would like to move your text file to.
  4. Right-click anywhere > click Paste.



Web:

  1. Locate the text file that you would like to move and click â‹® .
  2. Click Copy and click on the folder that you would like to move your text file to.
  3. Click Paste.
