# Spell Check and Auto Text Correction

## Spell Check 
You can set JotterPad to flag spelling errors as you type. 

### Android
Most Android devices should have the spelling checker turned on by default. 

* To turn on spell check on Android 8.0, go to system Settings > System > Language & Input > Advanced > Spell Checker. 
* To turn on spell check on Android 7.0, go to system Settings > Language & Input > Spell Check. 
* To turn on spell check on Samsung Galaxy S6 and above, go to System Settings > Language & Input > Browse and select Samsung keyboard > Select Auto Check Spelling. 

To disable autofill pop up on Android, follow the instructions below.

1. Open the Settings app. 
2. Scroll down and tap System > Language & Input.
3. Tap Advanced to expand the section.
4. Tap Autofill service.
5. Tap the Settings cog next to Google.
6. Disable “Use Autofill with Google”.

### iOS

To enable spell check, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > turn on "Check Spelling".

### Mac & Web

To enable spell check, select Edit > Select Spelling and Grammar > Select “Check Spelling While Typing” or “Check Spelling Automatically”.
