# Save Changes to Text File

**Android**:
To save the edits, tap `✓` in the top left of the app bar.

**iOS**:

To save the edits, tap the `Done` button in the top left of the app bar.

**Mac**:

Method 1: Press `Cmd + s` on your keyboard to save.
Method 2: Open JotterPad Preferences > Check the box to enable this option to save your document while editing.​

**Web**
By default, the edits are saved automatically. To save the edit manually, press `Cmd + s` on your keyboard to save.
