Export to Microsoft Word

JotterPad can convert plain text Markdown syntax to Microsoft Word document (.docx). You can export text files to .docx with the following extensions: ​

  • .txt ​
  • .markdown ​
  • .md ​
  • .fountain (Only for JotterPad iOS and Mac)​

Android:​

  1. In the file directory, long press and hold a file thumbnail. ​
  2. Tap on the share icon, then tap on DOCX. ​
  3. Choose a directory that you want to save the document to.
  4. Tap on Save. ​
By default, JotterPad saves your document to the Downloads folder. ​

iOS:

  1. Tap on the file that you would like to export.
  2. Tap on the … icon.
  3. Tap on the Export button.
  4. Tap on Word (.docx).
  5. Choose a directory that you want to save the document to.
By default, JotterPad saves your document to Files > On My iPhone > JotterPad > Export folder.


Mac:​

Select File > Export To > select Word (Docx.).


Web:

  1. Select the file that you would like to export.
  2. Click on the download icon, then tap on Word (.docx).
  3. Click on the Export button.
  4. Choose a directory that you want to save the document to.
  5. Click on Save.
